Newberry Crater

For the first mountain bike ride of the trip, we rode around Paulina and East Lakes.  They are both contained in the caldera of the Newberry volcano, located about 20 miles south of Bend, Oregon.

It Fits!

It was a stressful morning, but in the end everything fit in the POD.  

Here is how they load it on the truck. 

First, they drive this gizmo onto the POD and pick it up.

Back the truck under, 

Lift up the wheels on the gizmo and it's almost ready to go. 

The next question is; when will we see our stuff again?
